As of 11/1/2024, the original version of dweOS is being phased out in favor
of dweOS 2.0. The previous version is now known as dweOS Legacy which can
still be found here.
What is dweOS?
dweOS is an optional piece of software — designed to run on underwater systems — that allows for extended functionality of DeepWater Exploration cameras.

This demo shows the stellarHDs in leader/follower configuration to utilize PrecisionSync™.dweOS 2.0 is the evolution of our first version of the software, dweOS. A number of features have been added that massively improve the capabilities and usability of the software. This software is designed for installation on subsea computers (such as our Subsea Vision Computer and Micro Subsea Vision Computer). It provides out-of-the-box camera streaming and customization features, minimizing the development time typically required for subsea camera integration.
dweOS is NOT required to use DWE.ai cameras, but instead extends the
functionality to ensure they work as expected out of the box.
