Snapshotting is currently only supported for MJPEG streams.
There are 2 modes available for snapshotting, and the default mode can be selected within Default Card Pptions settings. While there is an active supported stream running, the snapshot button will appear.

Configuring Snapshot

To alter the snapshot mode per video card in the event you don’t want to follow the Default Card Options settings, long press the snapshot button to open up the video card’s snapshot config. To select single frame snapshotting, select Single.
To select interval frame snapshotting, select Interval and set the number to the interval needed.

Single Snapshot

While the snapshot mode is set to single, the icon will look like a standard camera.
Pressing the button in this mode will take a snapshot of what is currently being streamed.
The resulting snapshot can be found through the snapshot file path under “Save Paths” within the Capture Path Settings.

Interval Snapshots

While the snapshot mode is set to interval, the icon will look like a cycling camera.
Pressing the button in this mode will enable the interval snapshotting, and it will take a snapshot of what is being streamed in the intervals set (it will be whatever setting is in the Default Card Options settings if no specified in the video card). The enabled interval snapshotting will be colored blue.
The activity light on the video card tab will also be blue.
Both the activity light and the interval snapshot button will flash white everytime a snapshot is being taken. To disable the interval snapshotting, simply press the interval button while it is active (blue).
The resulting snapshot(s) can be found through the snapshot file path under “Save Paths” within the Capture Path Settings.
