Overview

Our SVC and microSVC both include our dweOS software, a web interface for controlling the module and attached hardware. The SVC and microSVC are designed to integrate with our exploreHD cameras to provide a modern, ethernet-based video stream.

Connect the SVC or microSVC to PoE

There will be one connector present on one side of the device:
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection.
Provide PoE to this connecter, indicated in the image above. Connect the other side of the cable to a personal computer with a PoE injector or a switch with PoE support. See the PoE note for more information.

Configure your networking setup

In order to connect to the SVC or microSVC, you will need to set up your desktop computer to allow network communication with the device.Please use the following guide to set up your computer.

Open dweOS in your browser

Upon successfully configuring your desktop networking setup, you should now be able to connect to dweOS in your web browser at http://192.168.2.2 or http://dweos.local.
If you have configured your SVC or microSVC to use Dynamic IP (DHCP), use the address found in your router’s device list.

PoE note

Note about PoE: This device is powered via ethernet and strictly requires active PoE (802.3af compliant). Standard PC ports and regular switches do not provide power. You must use an 802.3af-compliant PoE switch or a PoE injector. Examples from US brands include:
