# Tab Tearing

> Moving video cards out of the main window.

To tear a **tab** off the main Discovery window, drag the video card header or tab out of the window.

Drag the header if you want the entire group, drag the tab if you want just that card.

Closing a tab from the window button will move the tab back to the main window.

Closing a tab from the tab button will delete the video card.

<Note>
  All **action buttons** on the controller dock apply to video cards in pop-out
  windows as well. The only feature that will only apply to the main window is
  the **organize** button.

  Pop-outs currently don't support splitting the window, and can only hold one
  **stack** of tabs.
